Powerup is a product development company creating household appliances that reduce carbon emissions while delivering income and health benefits to customers in low and middle-income countries. PowerUp provides an affordable “clean” cooking product that is 2x faster than charcoal/wood and significantly cheaper in the long-run, while generating carbon credits - a high margin USD-linked revenue stream with demand for carbon credits anticipated to increase credit prices over the next decade by 2-3x.
