
Eghosa Omoigui, GP
Our Founder, Eghosa Omoigui, is a Silicon Valley-based technology-focused investor and founding Managing Partner of EchoVC Partners. Before this, Eghosa was with Intel for nearly 10 years and his last role was as Intel Capital Director, Strategic Investments, Consumer Internet & Semantic Technologies, where he acted as a senior investment professional focused on platform-agnostic consumer web services and digital media-based investment opportunities. Omoigui also drove ICap's investment focus on next generation semantic technologies, smart data and the realtime web. Eghosa was personally responsible for (developing supporting theses for and) sourcing investment opportunities in various companies including AdMob, Jaiku, Powerset, Facebook, LinkedIn, Teracent and Pandora.
Prior to this role, Omoigui was Chief of Staff to the President of Intel Capital (the largest global tech corporate VC), and, before that, Chief of Staff for Intel’s Treasury organization, helping oversee an $18B cash platform. Omoigui attended UPenn Law School and Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

Shadi Mehraein, Associate Partner
Shadi is a Silicon Valley-based Associate Partner with EchoVC Partners. Prior to this, she was with Focus Ventures for almost 3 years, supporting venture investments as part of a leading expansion-stage venture fund with over $830M under management. She was responsible for sourcing diverse investment opportunities including Marin Software, Pivot3, and 3VR, and was involved in other investments such as PCH International, BookRenter and DeliveryAgent. Prior to this, Ms. Mehraein was with Bessemer Venture Partners, a leading multi-stage venture fund with over $4B under management. At BVP, Shadi was involved in the firm’s investment in Intacct Software and was also actively involved in researching and framing investment strategies for sectors such as e-commerce, SaaS, gaming, and digital media. Before BVP, Shadi was an analyst at CIBC/Oppenheimer's Corporate Finance - Technology Investment Banking group.
In addition to her professional pursuits (and keeping a close eye on the burgeoning SoCal startup ecosystem), Shadi is an EIR for Stanford University Professor Tom Kosnik, a multiple year fundraising and business development volunteer for the Humane Society Silicon Valley. She is also an entrepreneur and startup founder of DoggieWire. In her spare time, Shadi is an avid surfer, diver and competitive ice-skater.
Ms. Mehraein has a degree in Economics from Stanford University where she was a member of the NCAA Division 1 Sailing Team. Her investment interests lie in e-commerce, SaaS, digital media, women entrepreneurs, e-health, the mobile consumer and underserved geographies.
